Inspired by the late 50’s classic style, this semi-acoustic hollow body is hand crafted from solid Mahogany. The hand carved top and body and a solid Mahogany set-neck with Ebony fingerboard all contribute to a wonderful, resonate, tonal quality.
Custom made Blackwood pick up covers and surrounds along with Abalone and Mother Of Pearl inlay; with cream binding on the body, neck, machine head and the bat wing shaped, F-holes create an alternative take on this classic shape.
The neck profile is based on the traditional “C” shape but is further enhanced for a more comfortable feel.
DELM D50J wax potted, hand scatter fed and wound humbucker pickups are fitted to capture the guitar’s resonate rich tone. Separate and simple to use Tone and Volume controls for each pickup and a three way toggle switch allow quick selection and control while playing.
The famous legendary hand assembled Bigsby® vibrato tailpiece coupled with a high quality Tune-o-matic style bridge with adjustable low-friction roller saddles provides the player with an ultra smooth tuning and tremolo action.
The Art-Deco style tuners and the Abalone and Mother of Pearl truss rod cover supplement the classic style of this guitar.
This guitar was signed by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani whilst on the G3 Australian Tour 2012.
